About this product
Flagyl Tablets 400mg contain Metronidazole, a nitroimidazole antibiotic with activity against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. It is widely used for treating bacterial vaginosis, Helicobacter pylori (with other agents), Trichomonas, Giardia, and various anaerobic bacterial infections.
Key Uses: Bacterial vaginosis, Trichomonas vaginitis, Giardiasis, anaerobic bacterial infections, H. pylori eradication (triple therapy), amoebiasis, dental infections, Clostridium difficile. Composition: Metronidazole 400mg per tablet. Pack of 21 tablets. Dosage: As prescribed.
Typically 400mg twice or three times daily. Avoid alcohol during and 48 hours after completing treatment. ⚠️ Prescription Required: Avoid alcohol completely during treatment (severe reaction). Do not use in first trimester of pregnancy without medical advice.
